The 5" Extended Grill Plate is as wide as the Firebox is tall, giving you more grilling versatility. It attaches to the top of the Firebox creating an expanded grilling surface. The Extended Grill Plate is not intended as a pot support over a high temp fire. Use charcoal briquettes as your heat source for extended use or slow roasting meats.
