From: $24.99I’ve always loved how the Firebox Freestyle Hex Stove folded into a single stack that fit inside the closed Fire Pan Tin… the one drawback has always been that the Fire Grate didn’t fit in the tin with the stove. All that’s changed now that we have mastered hinge-making on our own manufacturing equipment. We have now produced a folding Fire Grate that fits into the storage tin with the stove…but that wasn’t quite enough. Having a grill is something I couldn’t live without so we made one that fits into the folded Fire-Grate as well.
Please Note: The Folding Fire Grate is intentionally designed to not open completely flat so it stays inside the stove securely holding the stove in its hexagonal shape. A completely flat Folding Fire Grate slides under the bottom edges of the HEX-Stove Panels and the stove loses its shape and tightness.

(verified owner)This is a great up grade for the hexagon set up of the freestyle. The combination of large and small ventilation holes makes for a much more controlled burn than the wide open grate. It fits perfectly showing Steves level of attention to detail as with all his products. This is my new go to set up. Great for a quick cup of coffee or making a full meal. Or just taking time off to enjoy the fire.
