On my most recent trip I used these Ground Anchors in the ice and they held strong. I’ve also played with prototypes to tether the goats and found they work well in rocky forrest soils where I generally like to camp. I like to use my 1/4″ speed wrench but if you’re not backpacking a cordless impact gun makes quick work of setting up camp. *Not intended for sand.
