It blew my mind to learn that you could turn a pot sideways to make it into a camping oven. Once you see it, It makes perfect sense but the initial idea is quite counterintuitive. Whoever first thought of it was a very creative/out of the box thinker which makes me love the idea that much more!

When I realized that this concept was perfect for Firebox Billy Pots because of the patented metal clips we have to hold the lid in place as well as how they’re as tall as they are wide. I went to work making custom oven accessories to fit our Billy Pots making them into awesome little camp ovens. Our latest addition (Oven Bricks) take the baking performance of to a whole new level. Increasing the thermal mass at the hottest place in the oven regulates the temps amazingly well making for golden brown success every time!
