This product mixes two amazing oils (canola, grapeseed oil) with high smoke points and Beeswax to bond everything together. By doing so we make one amazing seasoning and maintenance method for your Hard Anodized Pans, Cast Iron and Carbon Steel! Beeswax has been used on Cast Iron for hundreds of years. Some folks use it alone, but by combining two high smoke point oils to the mixture at the right amount, your cookware will be dark, non-stick and great for cooking time and time again. It works from bare seasoning using three rounds at 480-500 degrees for one hour, to wiping it on a clean pan that’s warming itself dry on your stove top to keep it maintained and ready for use! BuzzyWaxx is made for Cast Iron people, by Cast Iron people who know and understand how to make a better, well efficient seasoning product.
How to Use BuzzyWaxx:
- Preheat your pan / plate in the oven at 200-350 degrees F (93-177 C), this should only take about 20 minutes. That will be enough time to heat the pan / plate up for melting the BuzzyWaxx. Please note, this stage will not make your pan / plate too hot to handle. You can still hold it with an oven mitt or pot rag.
- If you’re using the BuzzyWaxx metal can, just rub some on a rag using a circular motion, then wipe it on your pan / plate and follow the exact same steps! Save yourself some money! Use the same rag over and over!
- Slide a thin layer of BuzzyWaxx over the heated pan / plate. Then using a paper towel or clean hand towel, wipe the BuzzyWaxx all over the pan / plate covering every inch. With another paper towel or hand towel, dry it back off as dry as you can leaving only a small trace on your pan / plate. Make sure to use an oven mitt or something so you don’t burn yourself.
- Place your pan / plate back in the oven upside down for one hour at 480-500 degrees F (250-260 C). This will allow for polymerization of BuzzyWaxx for seasoning to occur. When the time is up, simply allow it to cool down enough to repeat the process of melting on the BuzzyWaxx, wiping it off leaving a thin layer and back in the oven! Three applications will be enough and you’re ready to cook! You can also use it after cooking and washing your pan / plate. After you wash and dry your pan / plate, place it back on a burner on low heat. Rub some BuzzyWaxx on the cooking surface and wipe it around covering the surface. This will keep your pans nice and slick, always ready to cook!
Wood Conditioning:
BuzzyWaxx can also be used for any wooden kitchen utensils you own. Bring back a deep shine, bringing out that beautiful wood grain while covering up years of use. BuzzyWaxx will help protect from future damage as well. Simply take some melted BuzzyWaxx and apply it with a cloth. Coat your wooden utensils, bowls, serving dishes and cutting boards to maintain that beautiful wood luster!
How does BuzzyWaxx compare to using regular oil for seasoning my pan / plate?
BuzzyWaxx combines the perfect amount of Grapeseed and Canola oil right before adding in local Beeswax. The combination of two high smoke point oils and the sealing agent of Beeswax out lasts and out performs other seasoning oils.
Is it easy to use and will it last for several seasonings?
Yes! and Yes! BuzzyWaxx applies easier than regular oil, melting right onto the pan / plate, then just simply wipe off the excess before placing it in the oven for seasoning. One disc of BuzzyWaxx will season multiple pieces several times over due to it not needing much application.

(verified owner)Buzzy Wax is amazing. Seasoned my Firebox Frypans with Canola Oil when I received them and they looked good and preformed great but I decided to order the Buzzy Wax and re-season them… WOW!!! The finish darkened up and the surface is as smooth as satin. Looks just like my grandmothers cast iron cookware. Buy it you won’t be disappointed.

(verified owner)I wasn’t sure if I really needed this buzzy waxx for my cast iron skillet because the grapeseed oil was fine. However it didn’t always have the nice satin finish I get this product. Plus the buzzy finish last longer for me. I like it and will buy again.
Also wanted to say thanks to the crew for making sure this add-on got to me. I have always had an excellent experience when ordering. Thank you for your great service and great products.

(verified owner)I used BuzzyWaxx to start firebox cook ware I repeated the process 6 times. Then started cooking in my cook ware. I will do the same thing about once a month until camping season. Then I will have a very permanent seasoning on my cook ware.
