Very good gloves. Nice soft leather feels good on the skin while still being very durable. I’ve had mine a couple months now and they are holding up great. Well worth the cost imo.

(verified owner)I bought the heavy duty one, it’s very good quality and soft, so it’s cheap for what it is. I have M to L hands and it fits well, Be careful If you have big hands.

(verified owner)I just received my gloves today (Heavy Duty). Was not expecting the heavy duty glove to feel this thin. Though i must say, it does its job. This got me wondering how much more dexterity you can get with the light weight glove assuming there would be some sacrifice (temperature rating ) . It turns out that after a chat with the representative, the specification of both gloves are pretty much the same. They do the exact same thing and have pretty much the exact same specification. The only main difference is the weight itself (3 oz vs 4 oz). Overall, is it worth getting the upgrade? Probably not. Is it worth getting the gloves period? Absolutely!!

(verified owner)I was at first interest in the elk skin set, however, did not have my size! Bummer, and I mean Bummer! Because if the elk-skins are as nice as these cowhide gloves, im telling you they must be totally awesome and comfortable! Because these 14.00 dollar pair are good quality leather and well made. I’m glad I decided on purchasing these in hopes that when the elk skins come i will be covered!!! Good strong grip comfortable in the handand quality fit. Sized just right. I don’t know what less to say. I think that this says it all; FIREBOX!!!

(verified owner)For years, I have used various leather work gloves while working with hot items in the field. The thick full leather gloves were nice but too thick to allow any dexterity. The cotton-backed leather gloves were always catching on fire. Last year I decided to get the Firebox Cowhide Leather Gloves for heat protection and dexterity. These were a game changer for grabbing hot handles, plates and lids. My old gloves appear well-used and abused after one outing. The firebox gloves still look new after last year’s activities. I recommend them.
