- The air / fuel mixture can be tuned by rotating the intake adjustment collar to adjust the flame pattern to best suit your needs and environmental conditions. Mostly closed creates a slow nearly silent orange flame similar to what you get with a traditional campfire. Perfect for creating a true to camping ambience. Mostly open, it creates a fast blue flame perfect for boiling or cooking.
- The Ti Ember Glow Diffuser which disperses heat to a wider area for more even pan cooking or can be used to create radiant heat for grilling.
- The high melting point of Titanium allows the Emberglow Diffuser Plate to glow red hot just like an ember, great for cooking marshmallows or grilling your favorite meats.

The Firebox Wood Flame Gas Burner works in all weather conditions above -22 C (-7 F). Fits all isobutane gas cartridges with EN417 compatible threaded valves. These cartridges are available in most countries around the world. Boils 1 liter of water in 3-5 minutes (varies according to weather and quality of fuel).

(verified owner)I generally prefer to use wood in the stove because I think it is more fun. However, sometimes I just want a fast hot meal and this stove insert is the ticket! I am glad I have it as an option. Highly recommend!

(verified owner)I’m really liking this stove. The design is smart and it works really well. The valve is allows for fine adjustments to gas flow and I like the control and versatility afforded by the diffuser plate. As with so many great Firebox products, it can be used in multiple stoves, from the Nano to the Freestyle. Years ago, I had to have a Trangia gas burner, which now sits unused in its original box. I wish there was an online marketplace for Firebox users to sell all the gear they bought elsewhere and then found that Firebox does it better and more affordably!

(verified owner)The FIREBOX Wood Flame Gas Burner & Ti Ember Glow Diffuser allowed me to continue to bake with the constant fire bans. For years I have used a Bemco backpacker oven along with my white gas MSR WhisperLite International setup. The burner is placed under the heat plate of the oven. When fire bans started to include alcohol and white gas stoves (allowing butane), I needed to reevaluate. I already had a Firebox Nano and saw it paired with the gas burner (which came out after I bought the Nano). I wasn’t sure if the mounted burner in the nano would be short enough to fit under the heat plate. Long story short, as soon as it arrived I tested it out and it fit like a glove. So much easier then the MSR. I now always bring the Nano and burner even when no fire bans this way I have the Nano for alcohol/wood.

(verified owner)OUTSTANDING Add on for all the Firebox Stoves. Highly recommend. Gives you the ability to simmer on low, and spread that heat eliminating hot spots. Goes right up in the Nano for as Steve calls it the “worlds smallest most compact gas grill”. MUST BUY!!

(verified owner)I am extremely impressed with how versatile this stove is. The ability to use isobutane or propane with the adapter makes it so that you can use it on solo backpacking trips or on family camping trips. The titanium heat diffuser makes cooking a pure joy. I’ve used other gas stove and my main complaint with all of them is the hot spot. Even though you can turn down the heat it’s still concentrated in the middle of the pan. This diffuser solves all of that. I’m looking forward to getting even more creative with my backcountry and camp cooking.
