(verified owner)Excellent striker and flint pieces! I have a variety of primitive fire starting tools in my collection to include numerous strikers. I ordered this kit with my new 5" Firebox just to expand my collection and hopefully get better results than the strikers I have already. I have to say this striker is one of the best handmade ones in my collection. The one I received here works very well with flint on nearly every strike and produces a nice bunch of sparks. The flint included was also excellent. These have nicely upgraded my primitive fire kit. My previous strikers were stingy on the sparks regardless of trying them with various quartz and English flint. I’m very pleased.
