Please Note: The Folding Fire Grate is intentionally designed to not open completely flat soit stays inside the stove securely holding the stove in its hexagonal shape. A completely flat Folding Fire Grate slides under the bottom edges of the HEX-Stove Panels and the stove loses its shape and tightness.

Loving this mod for the Free Style 6 – Hex stove. Having everything fold down to fit into the pan was brilliant. Allows me to carry a bigger stove without the bulk.

Steve and staff… you are the very best! I had purchased the freestyle complete kit well before this accessory was created and have experimented with every configuration while car camping. So delighted that I could purchase the Hex Freestyle Accessory Combo as an upgrade. It’s a fabulous addition to an already fabulous kit. I’ve used the hex setup exclusively since this purchase. The folding grate is science genius…really radiates that heat…and the ability to position the grill off to the side of the heat accommodates foods that demand less. Incredible that it doesn’t really require any extra space to stow. So glad I made the purchase.

I have loved my Hex kit since I got it, and when I saw this upgrade I knew I had to have it. I love that the parts all fit in the carry tin now! The locking firesticks are such a game changer for this set up, and the new folding base really makes for a solid stove. Like all of my other firebox stuff this kit is bulletproof gear that will never let you down.

Wow guys. You listened. I was critical of the weight of the steel prototype. But the new release titanium folding hex base versions are simply fantastic, perfectly designed in every way. Thankyou team – I love my Ti freestyle (and my old G2 too) and the titanium folding base really makes my freestyle useful
