A very special new version of the Freestyle HEX-STOVE/GRILL/CAMPFIRE-KIT. A high functioning cook stove with warming positions, a high performance grill that allows you to utilize reflected radiant heat of a wood fire flame or the direct heat over flameless, hot coals. My testing proved a very pleasant use experience. The grilling process was very intuitive and regardless of the size of the fire I was able to place my beef steak, such that the heat was perfect for progressing slowly & evenly toward achieving edge to edge pinkness perfection on a very thick steak. While also being a great little fire-pit for the true to camping tradition warmth and ambience we all remember from our childhood. All this goodness is self contained in a 5 x 7″ storage tin only 3/4″ thick that functions very well as a Fire-Pan yet fits in your back pocket! Such a great bit of kit that You’re going to love!

Please Note: The Folding Fire Grate is intentionally designed to NOT open completely flat so it stays inside the stove securely holding the stove in its hexagonal shape. A completely flat Folding Fire Grate slides under the bottom edges of the HEX-Stove Panels and the stove loses its shape and tightness.

    Loving my new Frestyle Hex Stove! Gave it a trial run on a quick fishimg trip to the Uinta Mountains in Utah. Being able to cook offset from the direct heat is really nice. Especially while trying to prep other food. Can’t wait for the deflector plate to be available for baking with reflected heat.

    Took this to a family cookout as a back up. Good thing as they ran out of propane! Fired up the Hex stainless I got on pre-order for a steal of a price and cooked two packs of hot dogs, 2 dozen burgers, and a steak. For something that folds up the size of a small book it’s amazing. Ingenious design and flawless execution. My fifth Firebox, love them all.
