(verified owner)To me this coffee is very tasty and smooth. Not really thick bodied. Not at all like most Sbucks almost burnt tasting offerings. I would rate it more on the medium roast side based on my palette compared with the usual home brew coffees like Folgers Classic or Maxwell House. They are a medium dark in my most humble opinion. I have prepared this Firebox Custom Blend three different ways. All ground with the Firebox grinder. Drip, Perked and Pressed. I liked the perk the best because the water stays in contact with the coffee grounds longer. Bringing out more flavor and depth. Its a good coffee though flavors are a personal perception. Enjoy!

(verified owner)Great Coffee! For the coffee aficionados out there, the roast is a nice Medium Dark, the beans were roasted just to the point were a few specs of oil start to show on the surface. (Just how I prefer) Coffee is smooth and full Bodied. In my opinion this blend was not heavy with any one flavor or note. No excessive floral notes or chocolate taste, etc. just smooth well-rounded coffee that you could drink anytime of the day. Great job.

(verified owner)One of my favorite coffees on and off the trail. Grind it, run it through the Aeropress, and enjoy. As Steve says “It’s coffee time”. With this blend, you get an awesome smooth taste that is great any time of the day.

(verified owner)I had to try this coffee and I must say I really enjoyed the flavor ! I use it in my french press mostly but have even used it in my gsi 6 cup camp percolator and it was very good ! I perulate 2 full coffee scoops for 2 minutes and it turns out awesome
