Our tried and proven Firebox Nano makes the worlds smallest gas grill. Thats not all, the Firebox Nano is multi-fuel capable so if you run out of fuel mother nature will provide twigs as a backup option! Also optional is a spirit burner for when you prefer to use alcohol. This stove is so multi-fuel capable, you can even use wood pellets!
Nano Stove Owners often refer to it as a “Gem of a stove” It’s an expression of genuine admiration for a product with simple sophistication. It’s surprisingly able to do so much with so little, earning its place in backpacks around the world.
The Firebox Wood Flame Gas burner is also unique and multi-functional. It has an airflow adjustment valve, which changes the flame from a blue stove-top flame to an orange ambiance flame. To grill, add the included titanium diffuser plate on top of the blue flame (when stove is off) and it converts the burner to a grill, or spreads the heat out further under your pan.
A note from the designer, Steve, about the Firebox Nano…
To get a high BTU from such a small structure I knew it needed to breathe freely which lent itself very well to its minimalistic design. The small diameter arms and legs are spring tempered for strength. With the Nano, less is more. Less bulk, weight and complication with plenty of function. I use the Nano primarily with the Trangia Alcohol Burner. Secondarily (as backup) with wood (twigs and sticks) which works very well but does require a bit more of your attention. The Nano works perfectly with the Trangia alcohol burner both for heat sensitive cooking and fast boiling with a wide variety of cookware. If you prefer the clean and convenient experience of cooking over alcohol, the Nano-Trangia combination provides an excellent experience for all types of camping.

Gas Burner, (2) Gas Burner Pins for use with our larger stoves and Titanium Flame Diffuser / Radiant Grill.
The gas burner is easy to use, has fast boil times and keeps your pans soot free. Works in all weather conditions above -22 C. Fits with all propane/butane gas cartridges with EN417 compatible threaded valves. These cartridges are available in most countries around the world. Boils 1 liter of water in 3-5 minutes (varies according to weather and quality of fuel).
Titanium Flame Diffuser / Radiant Grill Adapter disperses heat to a wider area for more even pan cooking or can be used to create radiant heat for grilling.
Available option: LPG Fuel Adaptor (pictured above). This handy attachment allows you to use any Lindal valve (screw-top) backpacking stove such as the Trangia Gas Burner with a 16.4 oz. Coleman-style propane canister. These canisters are less expensive than standard compressed fuel cans, and are readily available in camping and hardware stores throughout the US and much of the world. This works with top-mount and remote canister stoves.

(verified owner)This little kit is so handy and versatile. It sets up quickly and takes up very little space in my Kit-Pac along with a small butane canister. It is usually accompanied by my coffee kit and Box Pot, and other items depending on the endeavor. The other day my Firebox Kit made me a hero at work! A big thunderstorm knocked the power out at the shop about 6:30 and both coffee pots in the break room were empty. I had already made my coffee with my Aeropress using beans I had just ground using the electric coffee grinder I keep in my toolbox(the break room coffee is swill!). After an hour or so one of my co-workers started griping about how he hadn’t had his coffee yet. I grabbed my Kit-Pac from the car and set up the Nano and gas burner, boiled water in the Box Pot, ground more beans with my Firebox coffee grinder, then did the AeroPress thing. My co-workers were impressed to say the least. Thankfully the power came back on before I had to make coffee for the whole crew.
